Needing opinions

I am looking into getting a larger quilting machine in the next 6 months to a year. So, I need opinions.  I am down to a Bailey

Or a Hinterberg Voyager:

So, does anyone have either of these systems, and would you get them again, what do you like/not like? I would love to find someone in my area that has either of these, so I could try them out.

Thanks, Happy Quilting,
Marianne

  1. I went through the process of choosing a machine earlier this year and I can honestly say I never encountered either one of these machines. I was only looking at machines that were carried by local dealers and these were not among them, so I am no help on these specific models. I can say that I bought the HQ Sweet 16 and I have had no regrets. It is a sit-down model, but can be adapted to a frame if you decide that is what you want.

  2. Have you checked out The Quilting Solution's Home Steader? It is not expensive and has a 22" throat. I have the Babylock Crown Jewel with an 18" throat. I like it but wish I ha a little bit bigger throat space.
